You book one bed (one place per person) in a mixed eight-bed dorm, in wooden bunk beds with mosquito nets under a bamboo ceiling. It is the way to travel light and strike up conversations in the kitchen or the garden.

Bathrooms are shared. Platforms list a fan, bed linen, a mosquito net and a socket near the bed, plus WiFi and access to every common area; Hostelworld mentions free lockers at the hostel.

The photos on this page show the dorm itself, as published by the hostel in its listings (2025). No private room is used here to represent it.

  • Backpackers
  • Solo travellers
  • Groups who want to sleep in the same room on a budget

Another way to book it

Bunk in a mixed shared room. Booking.com sells this same bed under another name: same photos, same bed type, same amenities. That is why we present it as another way to book the dorm, not as a separate room.

What you share with the house

Kitchen, timber veranda, garden, lounge and hammocks: hostel life happens outside the rooms.

  • The shared kitchen: a fridge covered in magnets, a stove, brick counters and hanging utensils, open to the garden.
  • Covered timber veranda in front of the rooms, with wooden chairs, a mandala tapestry and hanging ferns.
  • Two guests chat in colourful Acapulco chairs under leafy trees, with string lights in the garden.
